Allen Matthews, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Allen is a born and bred native, hailing the from Sanford NC area, he still proudly calls it home today. After high school, Allen attended Campbell University before settling in at East Carolina University. Allen began his career in the hearing healthcare field in 2001 and was drawn to the profession particularly due to helping his grandmother with her hearing aids regularly. Allen had always been aware of the power a hearing device gave to his grandmother…the power to communicate. For the longest time, Allen believed that hearing aids were called “ear-glasses” as that is what his grandmother fondly called them, she simply explained that they clear up sound like when she puts on her glasses.
What Allen loves most about saving hearing lives is the reward of a job well done, when the patient and their families lives are transformed back to a much more normal state. Allen strives to keep the patients as happy and satisfied with the best technology available…that is why he is proud to represent Audibel and their promise to our patients/customers nationwide!
